Adherents of the Repeated

Okay! So clearly this "posting just to DW" thing is overrated, and it's not like my biannual updates are all that hard to copy-paste. So! LJ! I'll be using it! I need to get an actual layout and add a few icons - you know. Eventually. But, yeah, I'll be posting to both places simultaneously, so feel free to comment/follow wherever.

Oh, I'm first! HI! I am pleased that you plan on posting and generally being more present on the internet. Uhh, when was the last time you had more than one userpic?

Hmm, I pick... BTVS

I have dozens on DW! They're pretty. I'll upload them here, really I will.

BtVS, yay!

My M/F OTP: Buffy/Spike! Shuddup, they're hot.
My M/M OTP: ... This took an embarrassingly long time. Robin Wood/Giles. Their love would be inappropriately Oidipal yet bookish and eloquent and aethetically pleasing.
My F/F OTP: Faith/Tara, always.
My OT3: Spike/Buffy/Tara, with totally platonic "sometimes we play checkers" Spike-Taraness.
My endgame OTP: Buffy/non-dramatically!resurrected!secretary!Spike. Or, if you're asking about people who actually survive AND could plausibly end up together... Robin/Dru. It could happen.
My original OTP: Willow/Oz.
My crack OTP: Heh, is there such a thing in this show?Holden/Riley.
My guilty pleasure OTP: Willow/Giles. She's an initially-underage lesbian! He's willing to test this theory! Together, they have floaty power-tripping morally grey sex.
My anti-OTP: Willow/Tara. So much wrongness.
My crossover OTP: Xander/Kate, as we discussed.

As expected, your ship choices are strange, but awesome and strangely seem like they would work (except Robin/Dru).

And I approve of Buffy/Spike cuz of the hottness and I actually completely love them in seventh season when they're not so much with the hot sex, but way more intense-staring and meaningful-cuddling.

I love them most in S7! They're such dorks. And mostly I ship them post-resurrection, with, like, Spike being her personal assistant / primary bodyguard and answering the phone for her and sometimes painting her nails. And then they have extremely kinky sex and drag each other out of hells sometimes, but mostly they just lunge around their dingy flat in Britain watching Strictly Come Dancing.

Also, Robin/Dru does SO work! He's got mummy issues. She's got baby-making issues! They're both pretty and Dru can tell him ~about his mum~ and probably there'd be a whole lot of darkness, temptation and dadaist verse.

y halo thar :)

THOUSANDS OF LAYOUTS :D

mmmmmm. angel! (i'd go for tolkien, but in my head it's strictly a gen-and-platonically-perfect-canon-parings universe. mostly because i started reading it when i was seven, i guess).

Edit: Actually, my guiltiest pleasure ship is David-the-millionaire/me. I could learn D&D! I wouldn't mind the capes either.

Phineas and Ferb is indeed awesome. I might just ask you that. Personally I love the fact that despite it being an American Disney thing it has a quite British sensibility to it. Which makes sense since about half the production team is British apparently. I adore the humour and having decided that the other Disney sitcoms are not to my taste at the moment (In my defence I do have an eleven year old sister, its how we bond.) P and F is a lone tower of fantastic in a sea of dross. I particularly liked the Isabel episode. And the songs! Got to love the songs. And Perry!

Oh and Being Human. I'm so pleased with the third season so far. Concequences! And adorable Nina and George! (I may still want to stake Mitchell but so does the show so that's ok!)

And I still only have six user pics. And I find that the one I'm using now covers most things. :-)

Good to have you back princess.

1. Phineas and Ferb are magnificent, and I completely agree re: the decline of Disney sitcoms. (I have the excuse of eleven-and-nine-year-old brothers! They're so useful sometimes.) Some of the actors are awesome, but the humour regressed and they don't even do drama like they used to.

2. *pines after Boy Meets World*

3. Mm, I don't hate Mitchell, but I love that the show takes this understated rule of television ("it's okay as long as they're hot and hilarious") and dissects it. I'm really not sure where they're going with the Mitchell/Annie though. (There is a minor possibility it'll be done well, but I'm mostly hoping it'll get subverted somehow. Not all love needs to be shippy love.)

4. The userpic you are using now is a thing of singular magnificence and I covet it daily. (Can't snatch; not British.)

5. It's good to be back.

I just find that there is only so much Milie Cyrus/Jonas brothers annoyance I can take. Hannah Montana in particular really depresses me lately. Half of the characters are just horrible and that rubs off on the ones that I used to like. Don't think its going to get any better either, one of the newer sitcoms is about two twins who become kings of a random island kingdom. Its like the perfect recipe for fail. The humour just isn't funny. And then there is P & F, shining like a big bright shiny thing of wonderfulness. I mean it shouldn't be surprising that the writers understand the concept of humour but it kind of is ( ... )

... um, can't actually seem to summon up ships for Phineas and Ferb though. It's the gennest thing ever. Unless we shipped, like, Phineas/Nobel prize and Ferb/harmonica.

CLEARLY IT WAS A MISCONCEIVED IDEA. (I still love things about DW, like the accessibility and the huge character limits - but most of the cool people are mostly here, so! Also, there are sociological aspects of DW that I shan't get into atm that bother me. Anyway: Doctor Who ( ... )
