It sounds like you're happy in your garden and your garden is repaying your hard work with all those beautiful vegetables and herbs! :) I'm glad to hear that you're happy and that things are going well for you.

(The more brutal the pruning, the better the rose.)

The rose has always been so tiny and feeble I haven't dared prune it, but last summer it just exploded, so I cut it right back, and yes, it's loved it. Let's just hope my masochistic rose now gives me flowers.
