The best $10 ever
We went on a field trip this morning to get more litter for the cats, and while there we picked up a track ball toy for the cats. We figured at least Minerva would get some use out of it.
Since we brought it in Reggie, Hermione, and Minerva have all taken a turn. They are way too cute with it. It was definitely worth the $10 add on with the litter. ( Read more... ) -
Gardening Adventures
After a weird weekend last weekend with dad getting pissed off and mowing the yard without being asked and then expecting me to thank him, our reel mower arrived so we don’t have to mess with the gas powered one. Power outage
Randomly had a power outage 40 minutes ago and it's not expected back until 5:30. This day continues to deliver!
Edit: it seems to be back on at 2:30 to stay? So I’m going to try to sleep again. -
Adventures in Hairballs
I heard Sevvy chewing something at my legs, so in my half aware state I swept my hand in front of his mouth. I caught I piece of my hair (loose) and pulled it away. Sevvy smacks my hand and hooks his claws in. On top of that, something wet and gloopy smacks my palm ( Read more... ) -
Mom’s vegetable soup
Probable recipe, anyway.
1 bag of frozen veggies of your choice.
1 large can of tomato juice
1 teaspoon sugar
2 bullion cubes of your favorite flavor
Some amount of paprika, maybe a tablespoon?
I tossed everything in and let simmer for a couple hours until the veggies were tender. Sometimes we would put elbow macaroni in there, too. -
