It would be great if you could stay in this fandom as well as your other love because I really enjoyed your story. It was great to see some connection to Guy's past(and to have a slightly better take on 1x04!) The characters were believable and I could see the scenes playing out in my mind - always the sign of a good fic, imho! I liked that you didn't make him fall instantly for the child but instead begins to accept that he has a son and that he struggles with the feelings that knowledge gives him. I do hope you write more.

Oh, I'm not going anywhere -- I've fallen hard. *G* Actually, already planning (with one of my RH-loving friends) a Season 3 AU fanfic in which Marian has survived unbeknownst to either Robin or Guy and returns from the Holy Land around Episode 8, and things progress from there. I know the "Marian has survived her shish-kebabbing" scenario has been done to death (so to speak), but I hope we can do something new and interesting with it.

PLEASE please please write it, because while it's been done, it's rarely been done well, and this story here is EXCELLENT enough that we NEED YOU in the RH fandom!

Here Guy is very believable, in the state he was in after Meg's death; and you don't fall in the error of having him fall in love with Annie, or indeed immediately be struck by LUV for Seth. (He promises to "provide" for them and acknowledge Seth; not to marry Annie, which I think is also very much in character.) His regrets for Marian, and the stuff of his nightmares are hauntingly done, and I loved the "which is debatable" about his wanting to save himself. MOAR from you, please!!!

Thank you! Before I can start writing it I really have to see all of the show -- as I think I said before, I've only seen the first 6 eps of S1, probably about half of S3 and assorted clips from S2.

Thank you! :) I'm not sure what more could happen, since I wanted to keep this one within-canon. I don't really see Guy and Annie having a long-term relationship, either. :D But there will be more Guy stuff, for sure.

I loved this! Very well done-you captured Guy perfectly. Especially considering you have'nt seen all the episodes. You must watch them-just for the sheer gorgeousness of Richard Armitage! I liked the way you fit Annie's story into Guy's redemption arc. Very clever-can't wait to see what you do with Marian coming back from Acre. Thank you!

Oh, you bet I'm going to watch them and for more than just the sheer gorgeousness of RA, though that doesn't hurt. :D I love the character, and I really, really like a lot of other things about this show. Really, I'd watch just for Guy and the Sheriff -- Keith Allen is so deliciously over the top.

Love the story, proud to be its beta, and the mysterious anonymous "RH-loving friend" to boot. :D Sorry 'bout dragging you down into the dungeon of my Guy adoration (to mangle a line from POTO).

Now a question: why, pray, does Ares appear to have leprosy in your banner? Or are those burns from getting a leeetle too close to the roaring flames of your passion, as depicted in the same banner? And if so, will Guy look like that after a couple of years too? :D

Thank you so much for the beta and everything else! Can't wait to co-write the S3 AU story. :D As for the banner, hmm... you have a point there. LOL. It's temporary though, I should get a different header soon.
