I would have to disagree with you because insomnia is your. So amazing!

I loved Mystery and can just imagine Lois in his shirt with buttons all done up wrong and I'm sure Clarkie loved to "correct" it.

Totally snickered with Kittens. Damn cats. There's only one who is allowed to hiss and get her back up at the Man of Steel.

Loved the press conference one and that is so Lois to hog all question time

I will admit I got a bit misty over Winter but sigh that they will experience the golden years together because as Clark said in Ambush, he wants to spend everyday with Lois.

However despite all this awesomeness sorry you have insomnia. That is never fun.

I hate cats, so I feel like I imposed but hey --- ten years and we've never seen a single cat on the Kent farm (I think), so it's canon, Clark likes doggies better! LOL.

I know, I want them to be forever young too but I've always wanted to write really, really mature Clark and Lois (mainly to thumb my nose at Kingdom Come and all that horrible crap about Superman living forever, and all alone after Lois dies) --- so happy that you liked that one, it's my favorite! :)

What a great set of drabbles. I love the range of time and emotions. I think my favorite though was the board games, just because I could see Lois fuming at the idea of losing.

I'd like to say I'm sorry you couldn't sleep, but based on these drabbles I almost wish your bout of insomnia will continue! These were wonderful - entertaining, well-rounded little glimpses into the life of these 2 characters. I adore the way you write (BTW that post-Harvest fic was PERFECTION) and I can't quite put into words WHY. I think it's a combination of your handle on these characters and their relationship plus your actual style of writing... you paint amazing pictures, but in a clear, concise manner, with true economy of words.

Thank you also for your kind words on my style, I always worry that I run on with descriptions or that it's a bit 'extra' in weird ways, and I know some folks hate present tense so I'm VERY glad that it works for you :)

I would read a comic book series about dashing/charming older!Clark and crochety and still kick ass older!Lois...yes I would. It would be like Welcome to Tranquility but even better for having retired Clois.
