the prompts for this are from Gin. she handed me stone, pink and the ringing of a bell. this is what came from it. took me forever to actually write this because i did.... *gasp* research before i started and then during to ensure that i wasn't breaking too far from historical facts. this started out as something hot and lurid in a monestary and ( Read more... )

i'm glad. it was completely by accident that i went the direction i did. like i said. the first thought was monestary. then, somehow, Glastonbury came to mind, then i was in Avalon and suddenly... well, Arthurian legend reared its ugly head.

i did try to stay as close to history as possible. i checked out several Wikipedia links on Avalon and Glastonbury, consulted some maps and then found a website that worked really well for what i needed. it has the history of the abbey, including a time line and pictures of what's left. its truly beautiful and i have a sudden desire to go.

i'm pleased you liked it. when Gin first gave me the prompts, i thought... what the hell am i going to do with pink? the first idea was a very far cry from a dress. ~.^

once it took me, i didn't have much choice but to try and keep up. i'm shocked that it came out so clean. apparently, i can control the urge to swear, be violent and fuck everything that comes my way. who knew?

glad you liked it, hon. once i got going on it, it just kept going and i had to reign myself in or else i was going to go nuts and make this a normal length chapter.

thank you, sweets. this one grabbed me and wouldn't let go until i did it some kind of justice. like i said, i did tons of research on it.
