OOC: I'll just skip the whole "Go to the house in the forest" part, since I doubt that'll be very interesting. So this'll be Thursday morning. ;)Early as usual, since she didn't require that much sleep anymore, Soulfire stood before the window in their shared bedroom. Dayenne was still asleep and as far as she knew Liz and Katelyn as well. It was ( Read more... )

((OOC: Now you've got me hungry for a European-style breakfast. Good stuff!)) ^__^The young Druidess had always been a light sleeper, especially so when in unfamiliar surroundings. Though surrounded by friends, Katelyn knew little else about this place, and every small sound caused her to stir. The night was largely spent listening to the music of the crickets, admiring the beauty of a cloudless starry sky, or even moreso the peaceful beauty sleeping next to her ( ... )

OOC: What European-style breakfast? =P I don't think I know a country around here that has that for breakfast. It was more based on some medieval-fantasy breakfast. Eddings actually. XD Except that they didn't have ovens and such...

"Goodmorning, Katelyn," the witch greeted the young girl as soon as she stepped out of her room. Though she hadn't even looked up or turned around, and would be in fact unable to say who of the three other people entered the living room. ((OOC: Aah, sorry. Sounded like the meals that they always cooked at that bed and breakfast I lived in briefly in Belgium. Minus the porridge. That description still brought back some pleasant memories, though!)) ^_^It was too early to think, but had she been more awake Katelyn would wonder how the Elder knew which of her three guests was the first to wake. That was one of the things that made Soulfire who she was - her kind and gentle nature, and the seemingly endless supply of both knowledge and wisdom that she posessed ( ... )

OOC: XD Europe consists of many countries, all of them with different eating habits. I know the standard image is that in Great Britain and Ireland, they eat the old "English breakfast", consisting of beans, eggs, sausages and toast. But trust me, I've been to two host families. It's only hotels that still serve it. XD Around here, all I can say is that either people have cornflakes, yoghurt, a slice of bread or nothing. I fall most of the time in the last category. No breakfast. ^^;"I like to rise early as well," Soulfire agreed with the girl. "Sleeping in somehow seems a waste of such a perfect good day, don't you think so ( ... )
