hello world,
i'm skye.
my name was inspired by the isle of skye in scotland;
pretty island, that's why.
i daydream a lot,
perhaps too much for my own good.
but i won't stop,
i won't stop until one by one,
they all come true.
sometimes when you dream of happy things,
you would like keep it as memory;
write them all down,
just in case you ever forget.
i'm here to put the world as i imagine it,
into words.
sometimes when you're upset,
you would like to put it all behind you,
pretend it never happened.
you would tell yourself,
and the people around you,
that you're perfectly fine,
though in your heart,
you know that,
tears won't stop falling,
hearts won't stop breaking.
it's the same thing with joy,
i suppose.
maybe if you keep telling yourself that,
something you really want is real,
maybe, just maybe,
it would all come true.
puff, the magic dragon,
lived by the sea;
and frolicked in the autumn mist,
in the land of honah lee.
