It's hard to put yourself out there after you have just gotten out of a relationship that has left you very hurt in the end. My advice to you is to try and pursue a relationship with this girl. I mean, you weren't really friends with Amanda before you guys started dating. You've obviously gotten pretty close to this girl before anything romantic has even started. Everyone is always afraid of getting hurt in a relationship, but you have to try to put that in the back of your head. Yeah, it's possible you could get hurt again....but maybe this time you wont. Maybe this girl will be the love of your life? You never know

God relationships are hard *sigh*... I totally understand what you are going through... but you always have to take chances or you'll never know what could have been. But then who am I to tell anyone about them, I'm going through some difficult things in mine right now :(
