Unfortunately, no. We're in that lovely window of making too much to qualify for Medi-Cal, and not making near enough to afford insurance.

Welcome back! Though for a nasty reason.

I'm on Lantis, Humalog, and Humalin, and they're all in pens. Don't know if that's a possibility, but it makes transporting and shooting easier. No idea of the comparative costs.

I still get furious over how many damn carbs are in things. A cup of rice is like 60 grams -- that's four mouthfuls.

Diabetes sucks, no doubt about it.

Thanks for the welcome. Doc wanted me on Humalog, but it was too expensive - $125 a month. Even the Humulin R is pricey = $75 a month. Being self-pay, it truly sucks that you can't keep the bottles after a month. Grrrrr.

I hate to ask this, but how the hell do they harvest humalin?
