WORLDBUILDING. I love you! Everything's so complex but it makes sense and I love everything and Spike with the blood ramen and Angel is a grandmother's story and Faith is family and everything is the best!

Everything's so complex but it makes sense
omg I'm so glad! because I'm worried that it's going to spiral out of control - there's so much going on!!! I'm trying to take it slow so that each segment is character-based, but still has exposition.

However, there's going to have to be a heavy-exposition scene soon. Which is uncomfortable. But at least a bit in-character, since no one really knows what is going on.

Okay so right now everything has to be somewhat linear because of ~worldbuilding and all of that. Once everything is set up (which will probably be another 4-6 segments), things are going to get less linear. Everyone has a story and they'll all be told. So yes, I can do more Jia/Fei backstory :)
