It's been two years since I went to the temple and got a "good" card stating that there is a rainbow after hardships, and a treasure at the bottom of it. What it didn't state was how long the hardship period was. I don't even understand the writing and had a monk interpret it for me. Oh, originally I was to apply for graduate school and go study, but because my graduation won't happen till summer I can't apply for fall admissions so I have to postpone it. Instead Ray is going to launch his career there and I'll try to get a job and try out 6 months to see if I like living there. If not, then I can just move back to the US and find another job here or something, or at least then I'll know not to apply for grad school there.

That sounds exciting! :) Usually you don't have the chance to run a trial period. ^^
