Still writing daily. Having more fun with fanfic, which… should I be more bothered by that? I'm not sure I care that much, honestly.

I tend to avoid reading the fanfic pieces unless I know the canon (I generally don't) but I have to say I really liked the shades of children. Interesting and creepy, now I want to know more :)

Ah… I was thinking more of the way people who write original fic more tend to look down on fanfiction. I don't remember any sources right now, but basically it's an argument over creativity and who's having fun. Which isn't really all that enjoyable to watch, for someone who does a bit of both.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm not sure that there's much more to that particular piece, though… I'm thinking it might be that this world's told through various stories like fairy tales.

Yeah, I know some people who consider fanfiction to be drastically inferior to original fiction because... I'm not even sure, that's around when I try to drag the conversation off somewhere else.

Stories like fairy tales would be very interesting to see, though. *is fond of fairy tales* :)

Because you're not creating the world it's in, is one reason I've heard.

Yeah. I'm not quite sure what to do next, though.
