My last post was in November of my second year of University. I have convocation two weekends from now. I've clearly had a bit of a hiatus. I finally finished my degree and now work in marketing (my chosen field) so things are good, they've just been insanely busy. I guess everyone can say that right ( Read more... )

Terra! Congrats on getting through school and finding quality employment! It's not as easy as it should be! And, of course you were missed! *hugs*

Trix!

I ended up lucky with employment. I was referred by a friend for a summer job, the company hired me back full time post-graduation. But yes, getting quality work can be a bitch.

Missed you. *hugs*

OMG! I was much afeared you had vanished, but I kept hoping you'd reappear one day. Mega congratulations! Sounds like life is treating you right. Hope you're getting to dance as much as your heart desires. Please remain a non-stranger. I've missed you much.

TAMMY!

I plan on remaining a non-stranger as much as possible. I missed your crazy 'ship tendencies - we've had some excellent fangirl moments :)

*hugs*

Hihi! Long time no see. I always like to see migratory LJers back in LJ-land.

Has it really been that long? Wow. And congrats on grad! Are you one of those Bay Street power-walkers now? Hee.

(It's my third summer in a row working at Queen's Park, and it always amuses me to watch all of the high-powered suits walking by.)

It has been that long! It honestly didn't feel like it though.

I'm not a Bay Street power-walker... I'm a King Street power-walker :) It's much more fun that whole 5 minutes away in the Entertainment district.

It does sound like it's more fun around King Street. I usually have to jog around a bit to get to somewhere fun. I think I have an idea where you work now because most of my friends are around that area too! I guess most of them are business students, so the whole Goldman Sachs/Sunlife Financial/Insert-other-investment-firm-here thing is their domain.

I'm around theatre row, The Royal Alex, The Princess of Wales, Roy Thomson Hall etc.

I used to be up on Queen Street at John near Much Music. Crazy people up there, but it's a fantastic neighbourhood.
