How old are they? because if they're young enough you can start hand-feeding them bird pablum from a spoon and it really help with the birdie=bonding process.

My birds Sammy and Sophie I used to have were hand-fed by me for the first little while and they really became dependent and snuggly. (Sam would sleep on my pillow with me at night leaning against my face and Sophie would sit on the edge of my mug of tea while I drank it in the mornings.)

They are both budgies. Pacha is a male and I just got him from the store in late December ( entry: http://krk.livejournal.com/443519.html#cutid1 ). He is a little scared of me still but I am trying to work on that

At least you had a great time seeing Kid Koala.

I agree its "friggin' Ottawa"!!
I don't care if I get in s**t. Heaven is nothing but a "club" just looks swanky and "let's add VIP to boost our profits".

I think its dumb when you pay like $20 or so to see someone well known or big in the indie scene like Kid Koala. Then you have to pay extra to get into the VIP area.
That is beyond rude and insulting for a fan. That is why I try to avoid places like that.
