So I spent all day in the textiles studio doing one more screen print then I needed to do for the assignment. (Yeah crazy me with no life, nothing new there.) But I'm glad I did it, I like the way it turned out despite my uncertainty as to whether or not I could do what I wanted to do.

Well I found the spare battery and managed to take some pictures that will work to start with. I can sketch it during the day and all that and maybe work on it when I get up. We'll see. I don't know if that's going to work ( Read more... )

So we're supposed to spend 7 to 8 hours on a painting of a window at night. How do you paint a window at night when you go to bed before it gets dark--for the moment--and get up about an hour before it gets light? Stormie actually had minutes and Stormie actually called me!

It was good, I got to talk to the Stormieness.

Their schedule got changed so I might actually get to get over that at some time (being this coming Friday) and see Stormie at lunch. That would be nice.

I both like and dislike learning how to do new things when it comes to art. On the one hand I enjoy learning something new that I can play around with and do different stuff with. Well, as for the moment I'm not really sure but we shall see soon. I need to get out of the house Mom's in a bad mood and I'm tired of listening to her argue with everyone. I had a thought today as I was on my way to catch the bus back to the stadium. Part of what is bothering me with water color right at the moment, is the fact that I like details. Water color class today was better we got to go outside which I think made the differance. Wasn't overly happy with the way the painting turned out. It takes a little different mind set to focus on taking in the whole and not just bits and pieces. I wasn't impressed with my home work but he seemed to like it so whatever ( Read more... )
