Thank you! It's funny, at least to me, to hear that those bits work, but I am so glad they do! (The Met was a bit improvised, at least regarding Irene's choice of weapon, though it pleases me thoroughly in the end. As for John, well, they were going to have the conversation, but in the end it was easier for John to get it over with himself. It also leads to my favorite line in the fic, regarding Sherlock's emotional problems. :))
