I'm not sure what happened to Emmeline, either . . . guess we'll just have to speculate. ;) I'm with you that I can't believe the Doctor is the very last Time Lord/Gallifreyan, but it does make it very sad that he, at least, believes that. Oh, Doctor.

Hee. The spoiler warning is really for only one line in "Fear Her," but it is a line that made Rose, and most of fandom, sit up and go, "wait . . . what?". :)

And her name is Em. That just works for me, for some reason. And the Doctor (the 1st!) raising his daughter with the edict that it's okay to wander off and Ten's lovely sadness at allowing that, after having centuries to think about it and oh.
Yes.
Lovely.
I adore cotton candy, even though I rarely have it, maybe one every three years. You have it have it at a fair, it's a law or something.

Coming up with a name was hard, because it seemed like nothing I could come up with would be right. But Em worked for me, and I'm happy it worked for you, too.
As a teacher/sane person, it was hard for me to justify having a four year old wander off by herself, and then with a strange man, but then it did seem like something a not-so-experienced Doctor might do because he thought at least it would keep her out of the direct line of fire. Oh, Doctor. (Besides, in my canon of the story, she recognized something in him, though she didn't know what it was, which helps assuage my guilt. *g*)
Hee. I actually have no problem with cotton candy at all. It just sort of came out of the Doctor. Poor Doctor, what he's missing out on. And I do think that law's on the books somewhere . . .
Anyway, thanks again!
