The one last thing I'd hoped to add to ThinBot for Robogames this year was motion, to swing the glass in and out from under the spout, making it easier to place a glass and pick up the finished drink.

I'm happy to report I got it working!

I did not expect it to be so massive. Is that why the servo "stutters" as it moves?

I think the washers transmitting the load are sticking slightly (if you look, there's a bit of up and down motion, too). I'm experimenting with speeds, and may add a touch of lubricant to the stack.
