Alright. So we all know who Matsuura Aya is. Or at least we should (especially if you've found yourself here on your own). If not, the jist of it is, she's an H!P soloist, totally popular who started out with the typical, sugar coated idol fare, eventually falling down the pit of dull ballads. And while I really enjoyed her recent DOUBLE RAINBOW, I can clearly see where this train wreck is heading. What happened to GAM? And her upcoming new single? And where the hell was she while the Kouhaku was going down?! In light of these nonevents I've gone ahead and done what her lazy producers should be doing: slapping together old classics and making money off 'em! (Actually minus the money part.) For my pleasure and yours, I present a collection of her terrific b-sides, hand ordered and specially compiled for best impact. Originally this was just for my ears (work gets boring) but it turned out so fabulous, it'd be a crime not to share them. Strangely I was never a fan of her singles- for the most part they were just a tad on the unrealistic, zany side. Her first album is still my favourite (and her 2nd & 3rd were 'alright').. but her bsides are oh-so tasty! So eat up and as always, leave a comment if DLing.
