HB: Spoiler madness, Firefly in Chinese, being informal, soulmate matrices

Mar 13, 2007 23:26

I'm having shocking access difficulties tonight but I finally managed to get to my livejournal.

Spoiler madness again. I'm bemused by fandom again. I've spoken about spoilers before. Are episode names spoilers, are casting details spoilers? One of my fandoms is in a right pickle right now concerning arrivals and departures of actors. The usual ( Read more... )

spoiler madness, soulmates, work, selfless slightly gaunt french doctor, things that make you go hmm, firefly, spoilers

You named 'hairy back' twice! This must be a serious offence, then! :D

And I don't know whether Quotes slabs from Monty Python is a good or a bad thing... probably bad, right? *hides*

Hahahahaha, I think Nora and I came up with that independently and so it came up twice on the list :D I was wondering if anyone would notice! :)

Have you got plans for this Friday or Sunday? We might go to Alameda (Brazilian) in Sanlitun for dinner. I was going to drag London Guy III along because I don't think he's been around much.

Also I have 70% of Angel season 5 downloaded :P It could be a while ...

Whew, Angel! Looking forward to that ;)

Sunday would be wonderful, since we were kind of planning to visit the great wall on friday - don't know when we'll be back that day.

On Spoilers: *giggles* You're not talking about Stargate: Atlantis, are you? I like to sit and watch, preferably with popcorn or a mom's corn muffins and freshly-made iced tea(with real tea! Not that powder crap...). And I don't mind the spoilers, so I read them and then watch the arguement all omniscientific!(Okay, just made that word up I think: omniscience + -ific=?)

On Firefly: I also lent my dvds to a friend...when we got to the end of it (marathon watching and all) she exclaimed, "WHAT?! That's it?!" very loudly, to which I quietly replied, "That's it," and popped in Serenity. She bought own copy of both because I get antsy when people keep my dvds for long periods of time.

On the Soul Mate Matrix: Hahahaha! That's great! I love that you have "Is gay" on there, "Tallish" is funny just because of the -ish, "Has a stupid name" that's kind of relative isn't it(?)*snort* and "Short legs long torso" makes me think of Joe Flanigan/Sheppard(look at how short they look compared to Weir's/Torri's legs and she is slightly shorter than ( ... )

Not confirming or denying anything! I don't want to spoiler anyone and since I watch an awful lot of shows ..... it could be any of them!!! :D

I get antsy when people keep my dvds for long periods of time.

Me, too and there are some dvds of mine that seem to be permanently on loan so I sometimes buy two copies - a legit one for me and a cheapie pirated one for conversionlending purposes :D

I love that you have "Is gay" on there

Gah, I've been burnt before! :D Doesn't matter how wonderful the guy is, if he's gay he can't be my soulmate! :D

"Tallish" is funny just because of the -ish

Nora and I are both very short :D Hence we thought tall was a bit unreasonable so I said tallish ;)

"Has a stupid name" that's kind of relative isn't it(?)

That's mine and it's very subjective indeed :D

"Short legs long torso" OK that was Nora's - that never even crossed my mind. My friend CC when she found out about the list, was like ( ... )

I was going to ask if being French was a plus or minus, then I ran across "Speaks a European language, preferably French" and "Is a slightly gaunt, selfless French doctor working for MSF." Who is the Francophile? :)

*laugh* Funnily enough it was Nora who said "Speaks a European language, preferably French" - I was the one favouring Mandarin :D I confess though that "Is a slightly gaunt, selfless French doctor working for MSF" was one of mine ;)
