I heard how there realtionship in the movie ended and I guess that wa sthe best you could hope for.

Gong Li is amazing. When I mentioned her to one of my teachers at BLCU last year, she sniffed "She's *really* old and she's not famous anymore". Imho Gong looks years younger than 40 - not that 40 is anywhere near "old" anyway. That particular teacher was a decidly nasty piece of work :( Btw, I think you bought Miami Vicewhen you took me to Xinjiekou, didn't you? I seem to remember seeing you with it :)

Well you know how Chinese are about age, particularly in relation to women ;) ie that saying that a 40 year old man is a flower and a 40 year old woman is tofu dregs? :D You have a good memory - I'm pretty certain thats' when I bought it as well. My only reason for buying it was because of Gong Li. Colin Farrel with the Yanni hairdo holds no allure for me ;)

There's a scene here when she's in Europe but it's kind of a black pinstripey suit. Can you remember when it was in the movie? :D
