My question then is - what is it about Carrie Mathison that helps Peter Quinn to find his True North?

I think Quinn not only admires Carrie professionally, but over the course of s2 & s3 he begins to see a lot of himself in her. They’re both incredibly committed to very unique jobs that demand more of them (their personal/emotional lives) than most. They’re both incredibly alone and damaged, they're both a little reckless or as you said “vigilantes,” and yet he learns over time that she is still very human, compassionate, and caring. I wonder if he sees hope for himself in Carrie.
