Better Late Than Never December Meme
I have done a real crap job of posting this year, I know. Let me humbly offer to engage in the December talky meme that's floating around journal space as a way of making up for it. Yes, I realize this the equivalent of a student attempting to raise her participation grade in the very last week of the semester.

December 16 (for Hanukkah, which begins that eve): Light versus Darkness, Good versus Evil - General Thoughts. We all worship Melisande, for example, even though she's the antagonist - but is she a villain, or evil? And so forth, if you take my meaning.
December 21 (for the Winter Solstice; Joie!): What gives you Joy and Pleasure in life. Anything and everything you wish to talk about, from food to sex to rainbows.
December 22 (for my birthday): Relationships and Love: Family/Friends/Lovers. What you look for in them, can friends (whether real or 'virtual') be family, what is family, and so forth, as your heart strikes you.
I hope none of these are objectionable or too invasive, and I can't wait for Sunday's entry!

I also don't know if I'll quite have time to do 3 prompts- the idea is one prompt per person. So i'll split the difference and give you two :)

I have no problem moving it to the 17th, and I certainly don't want to burden you overmuch; Love as thou wilt, and pick those prompts you like best. No doubt I will enjoy whatever you write, as I always do. And thanks for the generosity!

My question is: what's your formative/favourite childhood books? Are they still favourite today, are you nostalgic about them? Afraid to go back and re-read them?
