It's it just girls that think it's a big deal if a guy takes you away on holiday and introduces your to their parents?

I thought it was a big thing, you know the mark of a serious relationship.

Well...

I met a guy at a friends party. We started seeing each other. He was really lovely and made me fall in love with him.

He then decides that he doesn't want a long term relationship and ends it. I've devastated.
