I write nonfic for a living and sometimes get accused of poetry, but I tend to be in awe of those who can write fiction.

I'm glad you think so! Admittedly, it's not Melisande/Nicola (or just Melisande), but it is the hottest pairing I can think of for aSoIaF. And Tyene is definitely a dom, she gets it from her father. Arianne is a hidden sub - she needs guidance, and Tyene is perfect for her. My OTP for aSoIaF is Arianne/Tyene with touches of Arianne/Tyene/anybody/orgy.

i don't really have a fave femmeslash pairing for asoiaf and will pretty much read any f/f story if i think it's well written. that said, the Dornish ladies are by far the sexiest.

Oh, definitely. But characters add a certain aspect to it. And since the Dornish princesses are not only my favorite characters, they're also the sexiest as you say, all the advantage lies with them.
