OK, I know I haven't posted in a loooong time, and I'll aim to remedy that, but first I have to go to Vegas for 5 days for work. If I do not answer my phone, this is why. While I'm gone, maybe one of you can figure out why I keep getting ads for Hindu dating services popping up on the sides of the web sites I visit.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my glee over Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Oscar win for the song from Once, which was a lovely movie. I would also like to express glee for Jon Stewart being cute and having Irglova back out on the stage after the music nazi cut her off. Yay! -

In the event that I am homeless tomorrow, I would like you all to know that it is because of Rock Band. The lovely Mandy, who can play actual drums, can beat the *fuck* out of a fake drum set. I know it's not new, but in case those of you (both of you? Are there even two?) with love in your hearts for Half-Life have not seen this: Half-Life: Full Life Consequences. Undoubtedly the best fan-fiction ever written (by a nine-year-old), narrated brilliantly and animated in the Source engine. Lovely. Yes.
