Eek.  I am so broke that for the first time ever my switch card got rejected today.  Luckily I was at the self-service tills at Marks & Spencer's, so I was spared the embarrasment of anybody seeing, and quickly gave it my credit card instead (which thankfully has many thousands of pounds worth of credit before it starts getting rejected) so I was

that's a horrible feeling. It's only a combination of luck and the economies of living in zone 4 that mean i don't have it as often as I used to. Although I have tried to take control of my finances. I now force myself to check my bank balance at least a few times a month, and I even wrote down all my outgoings so I know how much spare cash I should have. Now all I need to do is learn how to save and stick to a budget, and we'll be laughing!

at least its pay day now hun, just get back within the over draft pay everything out like rent, food and all that. work out how much you have left and then go on an almighty Leo Sayer.
