Fallout 3, the final word

I played about an hour of Fallout 3. VATS is stupid, because slow-mo missing is stupid. Slow-mo standard hits (as opposed to critical hits) are silly, but slow-mo misses is stupid. And torture

I am often in a very small minority. I am firmly of the opinion that the "masses" can be wrong. I am violently allergic to peer pressure - not that you're pressuring me, but "everyone else is doing it" is the best way to get me to not do/like/believe it.

I also never liked Britney Spears, Friends, or Halo.

My respect for Fred is unchanged. My regret for possibly causing him problems by commenting at NMA is unchanged.

But the fact remains that they didn't make the game I wanted to play. There's nothing I can do about that. I kept trying to go back to it, but getting frustrated with too many of the decisions that were made. Reading Shamus' commentary brought things more sharply into focus.

It isn't worth being upset about. So I simply will not be upset about it anymore.

This reply is much clearer than your initial post, which read like "Worst. Game. EVAR." Saying that FO3 isn't a game you want to play is much more reasonable.
