...sort of. So, yesterday it hit 101 here, heat index = something delightful like 110. at 7 AM Lizbat woke me up to say the air conditioning wasn't working, and at about 8 AM we called the emergency maintenance number. long story short, our AC unit, which is 25+ years old, couldn't handle this heat wave and had given up its little freon-chilled
