Frank's mom belongs to some sort of discount book cluby thing and she ordered it for us. She said she had just gotten it last weekend and was going to ship it to us as soon as she was done. So I'll have to wait a few weeks, but I am sure it will be worth it!

Well I cant promise I'd be able to go up to Houghton. At least not until I get Sophie declawed... right now watching her and preventing her from tearing everything up.
I'm glad things are going to work out with ur research and everything. Way to stick up for yourself! Wahoo!! I miss u guys!

First of all, I am soooo proud of you for giving your adviser a piece of your mind. Academia is so screwed up and what he did was horrible, especially since your future depends on his ability to not be an idiot. It's times like these that I'm really glad I don't have to worry about doing research or projects with any SLIS professors. Way to call the shots though :)

And I have faith that you'll survive the 2 job thing... but I'm glad my experience made you think twice :) I listened to a lot of Cake's Short Skirt, Long Jacket and Aretha Franklin's Respect to pump myself up for the weeks from hell. :) Just keep on keeping on! And let me know when you're coming home!
