My grandfather has a facebook. I wish I was making that up.

So I spent my Halloween in the scariest place possible...the hospital. My six patients slept throughout the night. It was so nice. However, I was still up and running. My downstairs neighbor is a nutcase. One reason being she stands on the balcony and yells at the top of lungs, "BABY GIIIIIIIIIIRL". Baby Girl is a freaking cat. Keep your damn cat inside and shut the fuck up. Seriously. Between her yelling and that cat making God-awful noises that are so loud they wake me from a deep sleep, I hope that cat ( Read more... )

Me? I'm still working nights and sleeping the days away. I am off this weekend and would love to do something. I'm still alive. I'm a little bored with life. I need a night out. I'm off to bed for now.

So I'm up early again. I have developed the weirdest sleep cycle and I wish I could break it. I'll probably be up for awhile before I go back to sleep. I have to. Last night, I went to Brazenhead, an Irish restaurant/pub, with a friend from nursing school and her friends. We sat around the pub and chatted for awhile. I've had the past couple days off of work. I don't like my job, however I can only do nothing for a couple of days before I am ready to do some kind of work. I applied for a job on the postpartum floor. Basically, it's taking care of the moms and babies after labor and delivery. I'm also looking into a couple of other places. So what do you want to know? I'm doing fine. The job is stressful, however I think I'm becoming a better nurse as time goes on. I'm getting closer with some of my coworkers. First of all, winter is behind us and spring has sprung. The weather is slowly warming up and I'm hoping to hang up the winter jacket until the end of the year.
