Almost exactly five years since I bought it, my computer has, I think, just given up on life.
AND I AM FUCKING DISTRAUGHT.
Because my 140gb harddrive, which was pretty much full of movies and dramas and music and KAT-TUN, is now, apparently, empty.
You guys, I'm in fucking tears.
Yeah, most of the files I had on that are on my external drive, but...

I hadn't wanted to buy a new computer anyway, especially since Vista came out (I fucking hate Vista, even though it's sooooooooooo pretty), I just wanted to keep this one and upgrade it by adding RAM and memory and a new monitor and shit as I went.
But if my harddrive is shot, which it totally is, based on that horrible clicking noise it keeps making and the fact that IT JUST LOST THE LAST FIVE YEARS OF MY INTERNET LIFE, and if I'd have to find some sort of operating system (NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME TO SWITCH TO LINUX, JENNIFER.), then it would make more sense to just buy a new computer and be done with it.
Hell, I could probably learn to tolerate Vista (as soon as I rework the shell and stuff), but...
I CANNOT AFFORD A NEW COMPUTER.
