I don't see anything that suggests an ICG chapter had anything to do with the DCC shindig. I couldn't even find the rules at this point.

It was run by the DCCS (Denver Costume and Cosplay Society), which is the Denver chapter of the ICG, as far as it was explained to me (I am part of your Silicon Valley now, and not really regretting it in the least).

It wasn't advertised as being an ICG event, nor run specifically by the DCCS, but when I got there and confirmed my spot in the show, it was all members from there. Or at least past members, as I'm not sure the DCCS really exists at this point.
