I update the LJ so seldom these days...I feel rather out of practice at speaking to the semi-anonymous beyond as though they were my confidante. I almost feel as if I should address all my entries "as you know, dear reader" in a thoroughly Bronte-esque fashion. Not that my life is a gothic novel. Just finished the syllabus for the hypothetical class I proposed in my Preparing Future Faculty class. Everyone else had a 2 or 3 page half-syllabus on Friday. Mine was 6 pages. It has now grown to 13.
Is it just me, or does the workload seem a wee bit off to anyone else? Friggin overachievement gene. -

In London! I'd forgotten that half the roads don't have names. Blast. Wandered the streets for 45 minutes looking for my hotel. Here now, though, wifi is hooked up, and I'm ready to roll into town. Namely to get lunch! -
