With the general elections being held today, there's hope that starting tomorrow LJ will be back to normal. I almost feel like I owe you guys an apology for all this shit. Bloody politics. :-/

Funny thing is, I should have connected the two sooner, but for some reason I didn't think about it until I complained about LJ to my brother and he looked at me like I was really slow. Meh.

Let's hope this crap ends tomorrow.

Well... Long story short, some people overestimate the importance of LJ as a media instrumental in political campaigns around here and think that tanking certain blogs would send some kind of message. It would seem that the only way to do it is to overload the whole system. So we have this.

Long story long, there's a link to a DW post inside this post I made in April. I don't agree with a lot of what the DW post says, but it might bring in some clarity.
