LJ misbehaves

Just a quick note to apologize for half my tags not working. Apparently, anything with a slash in it is now out of order. It'll take me a while to fix this thing manually. Please use the master list for navigation for now. D:

I have no idea how communities mods are gonna handle this... O__O

The LJ Powers That Be CLAIM that this is a glitch ("unintentional" was the word) adn that they're working on it. i've seen the comment in question from marta (I think, don't hold me to that) but am too tired to dig it up again. Anyway, point is, if you can't face fixing your tags perhaps just put up with it for a few days and see whether they fix it?

I had to fix around 20% of my tags, but I used the Manage Tags feature so it didn't take all that long. I just swapped the slashes for dashes, so k-s, pike-uhura, etc. Ugly and not so obviously meaningful, but they work.

Thanks for the tip! I might hang in there for a few days, yes. First, because I don't like the dash for slash exchange and I can't come up with anything better, either. And second, 'cause yeah, it's a lot of footwork, and I'm not in the mood.

*crosses her fingers* Here's hoping they'll actually correct this.

Here's the thread, someone posted it again and I, like some kind of masochist, happened to have gone back to read yet more irate comments about LJ's idiocy. You know, just in case my heart-rate wasn't high enough already. :-|
