This is how you know it was a good movie. It's been hours and hours since I've seen it, and I still can't get it out of my head. Leo's character died in the original movie that 'The Departed' was based on (*see icon for the Asian guys that played the guys originally*). *g* I was SO sure that they were going to change the ending, too, so imagine my very happy surprise when they didn't. Total & utter love, man. *draws hearts*

And Damon's FROM Boston, so his accent really is the real deal. ;)

But yes. This was seriously a great film & Leo owned it. Might just be his best role yet.

So the original is a trilogy right? Cause I found and downloaded (oh, i'm bad, it's ILLEGAL!) the first Infernal Affairs, but... do the others have different names?

The guys, the Asian ones, they're hot. From the icons I've seen from you and ponderosa121. Whew.

I think it really IS Leo's best role. He was sooooo good.

Yes, it is a trilogy. The second one goes back & tells the story of the police chief & Mob boss' rise to power & the boys in the Academy & the third one goes back & forth in time to tell what happened after the elevator scene & what else happened during the time of the first film.

It, uh, sounds more confusing that it really is. *g*

And yes, they're all called Infernal Affairs. *g* I, II & III.

Tony Leung & Andy Lau are INCREDIBLY hot. I've been a huge fan of Tony's for years & years & years. Since he was in 'Hard Boiled' with Chow Yun-Fat.

I still can't figure out Damon's character's motivation... did he want to be a cop? was he being loyal to jack? what was he? was he in love? what the hell?!

I couldn't believe they killed Leo's character. I still can't. I was soo glad when Marky Mark killed Damon's.

I cannot stop talking about how good this movie was. I'm seeing it again tonight, because everytime you watch a Scorsese movie you pick up new things, and I NEVER see the same movie twice in theatres. It's just that good.

Jenny's so pretty. I loves him. I saw those pictures and I was like "OKAY I'LL PUT UP A NEW HEADER, FINE, JENSEN, JUST BE HOT LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME!" lol.
