I have yet to hear the new voice (I'm sentenced to wait for the holidays to get my copy) but... I can agree with the ranter you rant of on the grounds on that I hate when a series changes VA's.

Brittany Snow did a lovely job and I'm sad she hasn't come back. However, I may or may not like this new girl better. I could go for her voice being a little deeper.

...What saddens me is that Sora's voice is deeper. It's instant manhood for Sora! Leaving Kairi = Instant Man, no squeaking included.

XD Well, HJO is almost 20 or past that. ^_^ He actually does squeak a bit in this game (good job, HJO!) but actor is older, he's going to sound older. XD

But she doesn't automatically suck based on the fact that she was in Camp Rock. =\

No, she doesn't suck because of what she was in. (Hey, Jesse McCartney made a phenominal Roxas! I prefer him, by far, over the original Japanese VA.)

But I still, after hearing her now, I want Brittany back. I didn't feel as much emotion coming off of this girl as with Britany and she never seemed as sad or distressed as I would have liked her to.

But that's just my opinon~

Oh yeah. I didn't hear the wank at 0_kh but I did hear some whining about it in other places. Personally, I heard a few clips of this new girl and I had no problems with her.

Besides, a lot of the Japanese actors are celebs too. Why does nobody complain about that? Oh, wait.....I forgot. They're Japanese so that's okay!

Hah! It kills me that Riku's Japanese VA is Miyano Mamoru. He sounds SO MUCH like Light from Death Note. C'mon, Mamoru! You did Tamaki from Ouran, too! I KNOW YOU HAVE WIDE VOICE-ACTING SKILLS!

Every time I hear a clip of the original track, I expect Riku to start laughing maniacally.

(Miyano Mamoru is in fricking everything. He's like a younger, less gay Koyasu.)

One thing that bothers me these days, is the whining about voice actors that aren't even CLOSE to the badness they USED to be.

Of course. I think that she is a really good fit.
