BECAUSE DISNEY IS EVIL! Seriously, didn't you know? Because it is obviously that Kingdom Hearts was originally a all Square Enix game, but then Disney infected it...like a parasite!

I think that KH fandom needs to realize that Disney isn't the center of evil, maybe the pinky toe but not the center! Just...D:

I'm just amazed they chose now to whine about it instead of, oh, at the beginning of the series? Come on, people - logic. You don't have to like the package but that doesn't mean you can bitch about where the wrapping's been before it got applied.

Oh... oh my god. Is that a Mighty Max icon I see?! A Phoenix Down has been tossed at my childhood. I thank you very much.

Oh, so you saw that rant in 0k_h too? I chose to be amused. |D

And yeah, the mindset is really irksome. People forget that this game would not exist without Disney.

Hating VA's is stupid. They're 'voice actors' they get contacted by people and do a voice for money. IF they do the job good GREAT if not... well ok. But sitting on ones hands claiming that they shouldn't do it just because of the company that is paying them is stupid.

It's no different then listening to those idiots ramble about the difference between Pure Japanese text and Translating it into English.

You can say what you want but Japanese is not, nor ever 'will be English'. It doesn't matter how many words in Japanese you know, if you read a subtitle and listen to the Japanese being spoken you will find that they STILL do not match out. The importance of dubbing is 'not' if the words are translated word for word. The importance is that the 'spirit' of the conversation is brought across.

I know what you mean about the pure Japanese text thing. Certain words and phrases in one language don't exist in another. I'm in Spain, learning Spanish and I've tried to explain things that Spanish people take a while to understand because I've told them (in Spanish) things in the way I would in English. I also have to teach English to students and teachers in a school and sometimes when they say or write things, it takes me a while to understand what they are talking about for the exact same reason. So when people go "Character X didn't say this in the Japanese version. It's wrong!" I am amused, since there are several ways to translate something.

Sad but true. Or people who recognize the word 'love' in only one format and assume when they hear it that it means the unconditional love. While in some formats it merely means to love someone like a sibling/parent/child/friend. Just so they can argue the right to a pairing or something.

Wait..but..Kingdom Hearts is Disney affiliated too. So, technically, all of the VA's have worked with Disney. *facepalm*
