I happen to think that a brush of fingers can be more intimate than a hot-and-heavy makeout session if done right. Less can be more, folks.

IAWTC.

*does not think she deserves the intarwebs, because her rant wasn't anything special, but thanks you nonetheless*

I really like how Sora/Kairi has been developed. It's nice and subtle and so sweet. A lot of that comes from how much restraint the developers have shown in depicting it, IMHO. Syaoran/Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura have a similar dynamic that I really like as well.

It takes them two whole shows to fully show their affection. Now that's what I call love. Tsubasa's like that too.

Everything "wrong" or "missing" in this damn game is Disney's fault according to fanbrats. "MY OTP DIDN'T KISS CUZ OF DAT ST00PID DISNEY!!11" Yeah, cause they were SO scheduled to have one because you said so, and Disney is SUPER stingy when it comes to kisses. Not to mention Disney pretty much wrote the script and created the storyline. It wasn't Nomura and his associates or anything. He had nothing to do with the direction of anything in this game period. It was all Disney. Yep. Their fault.

And God, youtube is moron central. I can't read comments without getting a headache because oh lawd teh dumb. RUN AWAY.

I find that idea a little odd, because... wouldn't there have been more romance if Disney had written the script? The canon Disney couples got kisses at the end of the game, which would imply that the no-kissing is definitely NOT a Disney thing. I always got the impression that Disney was more likely to rush a romance rather than leave it out altogether.

I like Youtube because it's a good place to post videos if you want to get good traffic and you can find the occasional well-edited gem. But the comments are really all over the place.

Not necessarily. I don't doubt there's gonna be SOME romance in there SOMEWHERE if they wrote it, but you gotta remember a lot of their movies are based off fairy tales, which have that built in romance to work with as it is because a lot of the time that's the plot. You take the romance out of, say, Beauty and the Beast and you're pretty much screwed XD
..and I was being sarcastic with that comment you italicized, you know that right? XD

Yeah. XD I was directing the comment at fans who held the sentiment rather than you. Wrong target there. Sorry.

True that. I was thinking more of the Disney Channel movies rather than their animated stuff when I was saying Disney was more likely to rush the romance than leave it out. Romance is an integral part of fairy tales, but the Disney Channel tends to do more coming-of-age stories and they sometimes stick a romantic subplot in there even when it's not necessary. Their animated romances tend to be pretty well done because they're so important to the plot.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Your icon is perfect, though.

WHAT.

No, seriously. It's Disney's fault that the Sora and Kairi plot DIDN'T follow the standard Disney romance-subplot? What?!

If one must blame anyone for that, I'd think Squeenix would the one to blame. Jesus.

final fantasy 12 -- no kissing.

Ashe (one of the six main characters) was kissed by Rasler in their wedding.

Now just watch. Next game, Sora and Kairi kiss. And then all of the fanbrats will go crying OMG IT'S DISNEY'S FAULT THAT THEY KISSED.

Because Disney is to blame for everything in the game that didn't cater to your every fandomish whim! OKAY.

XD, and then they'll be yelling there was no Sora/Riku kiss because Disney is homophobic and took them out before hand. Yeah. The Walt Disney Company is homophobic...lmao.

That's right. It's not like Disney is the biggest employer of homosexuals...

...wait a minute...

Yeah, a BIG CHUNK of their employees aren't gay at all! And it's not like there wasn't a whole weekend for homosexuals to come here to join in specially planned events and flood the park with red shirts earlier this month because Disney hates supporting gays. They're totally against it and think it's gross. Hugo/Djali in Hunchback of Notre Dame? Totally in your imagination.

Research, bitches.
