Pairings. We know them, we love them, we draw them, write them, pr0n them, fixate on them. And usually, we label them. Here arises the problem.
Hey, fandom. PICK A FREAKING STYLE ALREADY.
When I can scroll down a single section's list and see Sora x Riku, Axel/OC, AkuDemi, Kaiora, and RxS? It's FREAKING ANNOYING. Especially the latter two

I don't think it matters how it's labeled... either way you're going to click the link if you're at all curious.

The teeniest mention about Sebastian x Riku has just rendered me dead. It's not every day that happens. In other words, I think you win. XDD
I have so much hate for the name-smush and it's really EVERYWHERE nowadays. Internet. TV. Whatever. So much hate. Except when we are speaking of Filliam H. Muffman.

My biggest pet peeve with pairing names above the 'Kaiora' type name squisking is the pseudo japanese katakana type name squishing. I usually refuse to type them out of sheer principle, which seems to annoy people who insist on calling Axel/Roxas 'Akuroku'.
...At least in this fandom people don't insist on the kana spellings of the characters (like in DeathNote with the Light/Raito debate. Ugh). Otherwise we'd have Zemunasu, Shigubaaru, Zarudin, Vikusen, Rekuseusu, Zekushion, Saikusu, Akuseru, Demikkusu, Rukusoodo, Maaruusha, Rakushiinu, and Rokusasu running about, which would completly defeat the purpose of their names.

...sorry. The katakana crowd drives me nuts, and has since the Alucard/Arucardo debate.

In the organization itself, you got a lot of k's there substituting the x's. Plus, you get Sepirotu, Anusemu, Zehanorutu, OKAA-SAN. Just stop. Gah.

But agreed. o.o It's silly to romaji-ify their names. SPOILERS: the Japanese names were as close as they could get to the translated names - which were what they originally wanted. Silly fanbrats. ):
