In Spanish, you usually put the adjectives before the nouns.
It'd be more natural to say 'Mis pobres y desgraciados amigos americanos'. But it's pretty ok xD xD

When I was a kid, I had this neighbour who was really old and who used to take naps in the summer out on her porch, and my friend Keenan and I would go and catch praying manti out in the field near our houses and put them in her hair while she slept. That poor lady...it was so funny when we were kids, though. :D
