That was the Year that was...

2010 was a year of losses. Lots of people lost their jobs. We (recently) lost two Falklands icons: the Harrier jump jet and, on 20th December, Brian Hanrahan (he'd been ill with cancer since March or so). We also lost the truly awesome Ark Royal. England lost their World Cup Bid (but retained the Ashes) and our football team lost the plot. We ( Read more... )

That's a pretty comprehensive run-down of the year.

We haven't half lost a lot of things.
