To whomever made a copy of my house keys and paid my place a visit while I was at Burning Man, please remove yourself from my life. I don't have the money to re-key my apt, nor should I have to worry about my safety or the safety of my valuables and important documents. FUCK YOU!!!!!!!

do you think it could have been someone that works at the apt complex? unless someone has had your keys that sounds like the most logical people to do it. i would speak with the apartment manager. <3

They are required to give me 24 hour notice before entering my apt. It wasn't them.

Rekey kits are dirt cheap and you can get replacement keys at any hardware store, they have a stockpile of unused keys.

it could have been someone that worked at the apartment complex that noticed you were gone for an extended period of time. and not in the 'I should check on this person' kind of way - but a dick who was looking to rip you off.
