I really liked this! Tying in Kurt and Blaine's past with their decision to adopt a needy child made for an emotive piece, and one that didn't seem too crowded with cute-kiddy moments, the way that kid fic often is. I'd love to read more in this universe, find out who they adopted, or if maybe they bought a larger home with room for an extra kid!

This fic took a very meandering route to its creation. I changed my mind several times about how to interpret the art prompt before finally deciding on this. Once I got going though, the story exploded for me and now I have a LOT more headcanon for it than I could write by my posting date. So...I am, in fact, hoping to continue it.
