What is it about hotels and decor? I spent quite a long time at a con in London wondering why there were miners lamps filled with plastic foliage in the lobby , a gold leopard on the staircase and a spotty dog apparently peeing in a pool in the atrium!

Sounds like a brilliant weekend though!

Hotel decor fashion seems to be "let's just shove stuff together and not really have a theme". It was all rather odd and looked like someone had raided a jumble sale.

It was a good weekend.
