New year means new jdrama

Nodame Cantabile has ended. *sob* The production team needs to start cracking on a second season so that it can air at the beginning of next year. Imagine that, a full year (aside from a few blank months) of Nodame: season 1, anime, then season 2. I can only hope.

Taking a look at the new season lineup, I think I'm screwed.

Aside from the Taiga drama (dying to watch Gackt in jidageki), Byakkotai sounds like an interesting drama series. Bakumatsu *and* young boys? When you think about it, Byakkotai is sort of like a more angsty bakumatsu version of a Johnny's boys group. I guess it's only necessary that there are Johnny's playing it.

You know, the first time I saw that title, I thought it'd be one of those awful backstabbing dramas, but it's a comedy. Eh?

I watched the SMAPxSMAP New Year's Special over the weekend and... Well, I totally want to archive this. DD: I'm slowly being dragged over into the dark side. It's all your fault!

And dammit, I was supposed to be helping sub Byakkotai, too, but guess that isn't going to happen this side of the century. ;____;
