The letter was a sweet thing and Mozzie would of course know about the supernatural and Slayers. He's brilliant like that. It would have been fun to have Mozzie met Joyce. I think he would have liked her like he likes Mrs. Suit. :)

I think if another year or more passed Buffy wouldn't instantly go for the pain when she met Neal. She might intimidate him a little for what he did, but not out and out hurt him.

Or she might. She's a temperamental sometimes. ;)

Mozzie would have adored Joyce!

And Buffy might leave the violence off, but like you said... Neal might say the wrong thing at just the wrong moment. Which would be a little awesome in a way because Neal always knows how to say the right thing...

I'm thinking the Buffy!verse could crossover into New York's White Collar division in a few years. ;)
