I knew I was dreading this day for a reason. It's not even noon and I've already lost my faith in humanity for today. Therefore I will talk about TV instead of 9/11 ( Read more... )

I should find more productive things to do with my time, huh?

Yeah a lot of us should. Every once in a while I get on this TV kick and that's all I do. Mostly food network and the various history channels with a little scifi channel thrown in, so it isnt all sitcom/reality TV brain rot but still...

Ooh, I haven't seen any sitcoms in years. I don't even know what's on anymore.

First, let me second the love for McKay. He is the ONLY reason to watch Atlantis in my opinion. And I like to look at Sheppard and Ronon, I will admit. Weir probably wouldn't annoy me, if she was played by someone else. Her effing ACCENT makes me want to punch myself in the eardrums, it's like, unplacable and weird.

I pretty much always like SG-1, but the Trust plots are my least favorite. I think that's a good way to put it. I don't understand why people watch shows that they do nothing but complain about either. :/

You know why I think I love Eureka? Because Jack Carter reminds me of Jack O'Neill. Obviously not as cool, but still... the interaction between Carter and the super geniouses on Eureka reminds me of the interaction between Carter & O'Neill on SG-1. Plus it's cool. It's fun. Yeah.

Obviously, I watch too much TV, too.

I love Jack Carter on Eureka. I think he and O'Neill should meet in some wacky crossover. I second the weird Weir accent thing. Like, I know she's Canadian, so maybe she's trying to put on an American accent and it's coming out completely wrong?

I used to like Sheppard, but he's gotten so annoying to me that he's not even attractive anymore.

I'v been avoiding listening to the news because everything was religious and/or about the 5th year anniversary.

Yep. Stupid student paper. I would have avoided the special 9/11 insert altogether, but the editorial page was in the regular section, and that's what mostly got me angry.

Our campus newspaper had a special edition too. I didn't get a chance to read it until this morning. It wasn't too bad, but the religious remarks were still annoying. Their main article was pretty good though.
